Safari Island

In keeping with making this year’s York Carnival bigger and better we have created ‘Safari Island’.

Stalls and marquees along Parliament Street will make up this area and will create a real carnival atmosphere throughout the day with a mixture of voluntary groups and local craftsman displaying their wares. We hope to display cuisines from around the world using a wide range of University societies as well.

Make sure you visit Safari Island to become part of the Carnival yourself!’
