The Workshop Jungle: St Sampson’s Square

The Workshop Jungle is an area rich in talent! It will be situated in St. Sampson’s Square at the far end of Parliament Street.  Under the shelter of a marquee, the Jungle will offer the chance for audience participation in some of our many talented performances.  In the past we have had workshop sessions from some Carnival favourites such as Daftasadrum and York Universities Dance Society. This year the Jungle will be even more packed full of exciting workshops and fun activities. So if you want to be part of a percussion band or learn a new dance make sure you explore the Workshop Jungle and watch this space for a programme of activities throughout the day.
